CONSTELLATIONS: Take on the new DefInSpace challenges
and bring your innovative projects to life!
DefInSpace follows the approach of a classic hackathon: Imagine solutions for space defense of the future in just 24 hours! This event, created by the French Space Command and organized by the Aerospace Valley Competitiveness Cluster, will take place on November 17th and 18th, 2023.
Participants will have the exceptional opportunity to explore the lesser-known field of space defense and its future stakes, as well as the emerging careers that stem from it.
If you are passionate about the space sector and curious to discover the world of defense, don't miss the chance to participate in DefInSpace!
OBJECTIves
DefInSpace aims to showcase the entire space value chain, involving academic, industrial, and space system user stakeholders.
To have an impact at the national, European, and international levels.
Promote the French space defense strategy.
Animate and create synergies around themes related to space mastery within the context of security and defense challenges.
DEFINSPACE'S PRIZE
For this 3rd edition of the DefInSpace hackathon, the winning team will be offered an exceptional prize: a visit to the European Spaceport (Guyana, Kourou)! As laureates of DefInSpace 2023, you will also enjoy a few days of all-expenses-paid sightseeing while you are there.
The award ceremony for DefInSpace 2023 will take place during the National Finals scheduled for December 12th, 2023.

French Space Command
The French Space Command is a joint organization under the command of the Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces for capabilities, cooperations, and operations and under the command of the Chief of Staff of the Air Force for operational readiness, organization and skills generation. The French Space Command was created in 2019 by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron and the Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parly, to implement the new Defense Space Strategy.
